Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 14, 2026 | Website: EcomWorkbench
At EcomWorkbench (accessible from our website), the privacy of our visitors is one of our main priorities. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of personal and non-personal information that is collected and recorded by EcomWorkbench and how we use, protect, and handle that data in compliance with global standards including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and standard digital publishing regulations.
1. Zero-Storage Policy for Financial Calculators & Prompts
EcomWorkbench is engineered as a privacy-first utility platform:
- Client-Side Processing: All interactive calculations (including Selling Price, Manufacturing COGS, Shipping Charges, and Break-Even ROAS formulas) are executed entirely in your local web browser via JavaScript.
- No Financial Data Collection: We do not log, capture, transmit, or store any proprietary merchant business numbers, order volumes, product costs, or financial targets on our servers.
- No Account Registration Required: All calculators and AI prompt libraries are open-access and do not require user account creation, credit card submission, or personal profile registration.
2. Log Files & Server Diagnostics
EcomWorkbench follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information for security and performance optimization.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
Like any other website, EcomWorkbench uses 'cookies' and browser local storage. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences (such as Dark/Light theme mode toggles) and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
4. Third-Party Advertising & Cookie Disclosures
We may partner with third-party vendors and ad networks (such as Google AdSense) to serve advertisements when you visit our website. These companies may use cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons in their respective advertisements and links that appear on EcomWorkbench:
- Google DART Cookie: Google is a third-party vendor on our site. It uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
- Opt-Out Protocol: Visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
- Network Advertising Initiative (NAI): Users can also opt out of personalized third-party advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices/.
Note: EcomWorkbench has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.
